neigong foundations, 9-10 september 2017 – manchester (uk)
introduction to neigong by tino faithfull
Over two days, Tino Faithfull will introduce students to the process of internal change inherent to Daoism known as ‘neigong‘. This course is suitable for both beginners and more advanced students of the internal arts.
process of change
Through a systematic process of working with the physical body, the energetic matrix and the spirit, a person is able to lead themselves back towards a state of connection with what was simply known as dao. This is the process of change which was studied in the mountains of China for many centuries.
Over the course of two days, students will study the process of conditioning the body and establishing all the requirements necessary for entry into the energetic aspect of the neigong process. Further practice will explore the nature of the key energy centre of the dantian and how we work with it in order to establish an internally awakened system.
Various basic movements and exercises will also be taught to help students understand how to efficiently control both their mass and energetic centre during qigong exercises. Teachings will be through practical exercises, theoretical teachings and direct transmission.
